About the Author

 Dr. Dale R. Moore

Dr. Dale R. Moore, is an airline historian who  has worked for airlines and the travel industry, for just under forty-five years. He has been a passenger aboard almost every type of commercial airliner used in the world in the past fifty years. He retired from United Airline in 1997. Dr. Moore traveled an estimated eleven million miles over his work-life. He is one of the few airline historians, who have survived an airline accident in 1989.

Dr. Moore has enjoyed a varied and successful career which began at a young age of eleven, his interest in archaeology and natural sciences prompted him to found his own museum, the Moore Museum of Natural History. At the age of fifteen he published his first book. Since his first publication, he has published and illustrated a large number of books, based mostly on his travels and explorations. Dr. Moore was named as an authority on Central and Sou1h American Art.

Dr. Dale R. Moore's varied and extensive background is a decided asset in the success of his new book
